About Monstruo de Gila
Inspired by the cuisines across Mexico and the Southwestern US, we have searched out the most authentic and tasty ingredients to make our amazing salsas – from the Sonoran desert to the lands of New Mexico.
Monstruo de Gila (“Gila Monsters”) inhabit only the Southwest U.S. and Northern Mexico. Some of the key ingredients we use in our BBQ Salsa are also uniquely sourced from this origin.

We sponsor real Monstruo de Gilas and their habitat through the Friends of Saguaro National Park. Friends of Saguaro National Park was created to help preserve, protect and enhance the fragile environment and unique cultural heritage of the Sonoran Desert at Saguaro National Park.
We also provide funding and support to Operation BBQ Relief, which responds to natural disasters and other situations to help feed displaced residents and emergency personnel. Operation BBQ Relief provides comfort through food – BBQ – to comfort those in need. They’ve served over 8 million meals nationwide since 2011 and continue to find ways to help all communities
